Hello,
Im new to Wordpress and because i didnt want to look like anyone else i went straight into designing my own wordpress theme from scratch.
This is only a beta version and theres still loads more to do on it thats why i would like people to rate my layout and all opinions are welcome, but i would also like some help
(please put this in the correct area of the site - if this is in the wrong section)

Help:
1) Is it possible that i only show the first 1/2 paragraths of my story, then offer a link to read more and then it goes to a seperate page like on www.avillafan.com/index.php? And if so how?
2) The right side of my layout doesnt seem to be lined up properly like the left - does anyone know why?
3) The links in the menu seem to have some horrible underline on rollover - again does anyone know why?
I would just like to thank everyone in advance.
